A Night With Neil Diamond at Alexa Park LV

The legendary Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” LAS VEGAS SHOW RESIDENCY CONTINUES ON in the “Modern Showrooms Las Vegas” at Alexis Park Las Vegas Hotel.

Music icon Neil Diamond is one of the most successful and beloved singer/songwriters in pop/rock music history.

In addition to being one of the best-selling and most successful live artists ever, he’s also composed the soundtrack of our lives — including some of the most famous songs on the planet.

In January 2018, shortly before his 77th birthday, Neil Diamond stepped away from live performances after being affected by Parkinson’s.

However, Diamond’s concert legacy continues to be kept alive for audiences across the globe through Las Vegas entertainer Rob Garrett, known as America’s premier Neil Diamond tribute performer.

Ask Google “who is the best Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll always hear Rob Garrett.

Like his legendary counterpart, Rob Garrett was born in Brooklyn, NY.

In the spring of 1974, his parents moved the family from New York City to the Las Vegas Valley, where, in 1976, he witnessed his first live Neil Diamond show when Diamond debuted in Las Vegas to record crowds at the Aladdin Hotel’s “Theater for the Performing Arts” in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him multiple times across the country—right up until Diamond’s final U.S. concert at the LA Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett created his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a decade-and-a-half career in Las Vegas and across the nation before deciding to move from cover band frontman to a tribute artist dedicated to one of his boyhood inspirations.

In 1995, Garrett was personally hired by Paul Revere (of The Raiders) to portray Neil Diamond in the Honolulu production of “Legends in Concert”.

What was meant to be a three-month trial turned into a long-term hit show.

By August 1998, Garrett was back in Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another two years before deciding to go independent.

He began a nationwide performance schedule, building a large and loyal following along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds Neil Diamond Tribute.”

He continues to perform to sold-out venues nationwide, often in venues fit for superstars.

Garrett has also received multiple accolades, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since Neil Diamond retired, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19, Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman officially proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating his 50 years living in Las Vegas and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in the year 2025, Garrett celebrates 45 years on stage in Las Vegas, with the last 30 years devoted solely to Neil Diamond tribute Las Vegas off Strip paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has performed his show at more Las Vegas venues than any other tribute artist.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the only active Neil Diamond tribute production in America.

Alexis Park Hotel Las Vegas is located at 375 E. Harmon Ave., just ¼ mile west of Paradise Rd..
